Love Bug: Work Edition

Love:
In January I got a really big project that will keep me busy until at least April. Not to mention that it is a project I absolutely love. Yay for full time work.

Bug:
People who have no sense of humor. They think they can hang, but they actually get offended and don’t understand humor. That TOTALLY bugs.

Love:
Getting to use really nice and expensive things on a new project. There is always a budget, but for this client, the budget is high and the nicer the better. For instance, we may get to use a glass beaded wall covering as a ceiling treatment. Yummy.

Bug:
Walking contradictions. In one sentence this person does not like the look of honed stone. In the next sentence they say that the honed stone will be beautiful. Drama. And just because this person tells you that crowns are in, do not necessarily believe them.

Love:
Having a job in “these times”. And having that job be substantially flexible.

Bug:
When someone speaks of something unfortunate that has happened to them and I respond with “I’m sorry.” And they say, “It’s not your fault.” Of course it’s not my fault. People, learn how to accept sympathy. I don’t want to always say, “That sucks.” There are times when that response is appropriate, but sometimes it’s just plain classless.

Just sayin.

Totally agree, and I'm super happy that you have full time work- and for at least the next several months! Yah!
And I worry that my 8 year old daughter fits that description of no humor. You can't tease the girl. How did OUR daughter end up that way?!?!
Cause frankly, I like to be around people I can just say what I want to around, and not worry about them getting offended- cause they know I'm joking without me saying it, ya know?
